General CommentMy God is a very touching and personal song. Good music and message on the group's part. The Aqualung album is a great achievement. It's kinda ironic how it is Jethro Tull's best album musically and commercially, yet frontman Ian Anderson though that it was a very immature and technically flawed album by his standards. Go figure.

Review Summary: Aqualung is one of the most unusual (top-notch) albums in all rock history. However, in theory, it shouldn’t be a truly masterpiece. “Aqualung” is the fourth studio album of Jethro Tull and was released in The line up on the album is Ian Anderson, Martin Barre, John Evan, Jeffrey Hammond-Hammond and Clive Bunker.

The fourth studio album from Jethro Tull. Though regarded by many fans and critics as a “concept album”, the band rejects this label. The album’s first half is partially inspired by pictures.

The seventh track on Jethro Tull ’s album Aqualung. Written by lead singer Ian Anderson, “My God” is a song about how mankind (especially the churches) has often bent the meaning of religion.

JETHRO TULL, STUDIO ALBUMS, “Aqualung,” to many, is Tull’s masterpiece. The title track and “Locomotive Breath,” with their catchy riffs, would be joined by “My God,” “Cross-Eyed Mary,” and “Hymn 43” as classic rock staples.
