    Haydn’s Paris Symphonies were written at the height of his fame in , when he had access to larger orchestral forces than he had previously. These wonderful recordings, made in Abbey Road studios in , are performed on period instruments by early music specialists the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and the conductor Sigiswald /5(24).
