Music Non Stop, since its creation, has been the concert finishing song of Kraftwerk. After Florian Schneider left the band in , the song was altered to accommodate video technician Stefan Pfaffe, whom doesn't have an active musical role within the band.

The album was originally named Technicolor, but was changed to Techno Pop because of copyright reasons. The album was to be played with analog instrumentation, like the ones before it, and was planned to have a different tracklist, specifically A: Boing Boom Tschak / Techno Pop / Musique Non Stop (probably as a single track named Techno Pop) and B: The Telephone Call / Sex Object / Tour .

Undoubtedly the most infamous and maligned album in the Kraftwerk catalog, Electric Cafe was born out of sessions in for an album to be called Techno spymitfleteasinungalibbeekacurmest.coinfo Ralf Hutter had a cycling accident (which actually left him in a coma for a while), he and the band decided that the album wasn't cutting edge enough and decided to scrap everything and start from scratch.
  9. Taumuro says:
A-side has the amazing "Boing Boom Tschak", one of their catchiest songs ever. "Techno Pop" is way too long with too little going on, and "Musique Non Stop" is good, but doesn't have a lot going on either. Overall, it's very poppy, and at the same time pretty experimental, which is great.
